Q.  What happens on the day of my practical test?

A.  IN BRIEF We have a 1 hour lesson before hand, to steady your nerves, go over any last minute panics you may have and to get you to relax, Then we head to the test centre. Once there you will reverse into a parking bay, get out the car, and go into the waiting room (this is your time to chill). The examiners come through and call your name, check your license and you sign a decleration form. Then out you go to the car. On the way out they will introduce themselves. They will ask you to read a number plate. Then ask you which car is yours. They will ask you 2 'show me tell me' questions. Then off you go.
During the test you will be asked to perfom 2 manouvres of the examiners choice and possibly the controlled stop. The test lasts approx 40mins. Once back at the test centre you will be asked to park in a bay. Then you are given the results. Now you have passed the examiner will fill in a pass certificate and take your provisional license to send off for your full license.
I will then drive you home.   Do you really think I am letting you loose in my car when your that excstatic!!!!!
